Great training. Ali kept the room engaged and supported great discussions.

Ali delivered this content in a professional manner and facilitated the course exceptionally well.

Fantastic course. I feel it will greatly help in my role within the girls boarding house and also in my personal life.

Very useful and relevant. It helped to remove some of my misconceptions and will help me to better identify and approach those with mental health issues.

Confident and engaging during presentation and in group discussions. Easy to understand and delivered in a manner that was appropriate for the audience. Thank you!

Alison was a very effective instructor who was confident with both the material presented and how to engage with the group.

All teachers should do this course.

Extremely positive. I would encourage everyone in the community to Mental Health First Aid, as it is very relevant to today’s society.

Alison was so engaging making you feel comfortable to discuss throughout the course. Her calm friendly attitude was reassuring that you could feel confident to assist in a crisis.

Alison was excellent. Knowledgable and knew her stuff. Highly recommend her as a trainer.

A clear pleasant voice with a bubbly peronality that kept me interested in the content presented additionally there was lots of empathy and real feeling in what was being taught.

Very valuable in my duties looking after young apprentices and trainees.

Strengths of the course would be: 1) the relevant and up to date content presented during the course. 2) The duration of the course – allowing the proper amount of time to participate, practice and reflect upon the information presented.

Well organised with a good presence and approachable demeanour. Engaged participants appropriately with little fuss. Displayed passion for the content and understanding of differing views. Well done.

Ali was a fantastic presenter. She made everything engaging, related to the audience and sought input/group participation regularly throughout. If she didn’t know the answer to a question she made sure to search and have answers available the next day! I would recommend Ali to anyone.

Very informative, engaging and left me feeling confident that I understood the course material.

As a counsellor, it was a fantastic refresher and informer of concepts I had not necessarily revisited in a long time. A lot of our Professional Development relates to therapeutic techniques so it was excellent to revisit the MHFA and hear the new statistics and research available on various mental health disorders. I feel that I have left this course with a renewed empathy for sufferers as well.

It was engaging and insightful. The activities that went with the content help facilitate great discussion and helped to cement the information.

Brilliant energy where needed and great empathy and care when required with the more sensitive content.
She (Ali) was open and honest and made clear the expectations of a MHFA person and the support on offer to assist.

The instructor was excellent. Extremely professional. Very passionate, knowledgeable and empathetic. She (Ali) was engaging with the content and the group, and read her audience well.

Extremely relevant content for pastoral care leaders. Gave practical strategies and instilled the confidence to approach people with mental health concerns. Manual also very useful for further information and resources for topics not covered during the course.

Course content was presented clearly and instructor continually encourage involvement and feedback from participants.

Pleasure to deal with, kind, thoughtful and accommodating. She was easy to understand and follow her instructions. I highly recommend her to anyone who ask me about the course.

The course content is valuable and relevant for all individuals who work closely with groups of people, regardless of the vulnerable (or not) state the group participants.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the mental health course and I feel that Alison has the perfect temperament to deliver the sometimes sensitive content. She was always articulate, sensitive and empathetic.

I think that some of the topics covered in this course can be somewhat sensitve and I feel that Alison delivered the information clearly and with great sensitivity.
