Alison is an experienced presenter with a background in education. She has an engaging presentation style that participants warm to easily and an understanding of how to manage large group bookings.
At the forefront of the training is to develop a reduction in stigma that is often associated with mental illness.
The course looks at helping adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a mental health crisis or experiencing a worsening of a current mental illness.
Alison has a passion to help others and has sought out a new set of skills to not only provide support to people suffering mental illness, but for the many lives it touches.
Each participant is educated with skills to provide initial support to those who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received.

Mental Health First Aid strategies are taught in evidence-based training courses authored by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Australia and delivered by licensed MHFA Instructors across the country.
The Instructor, Alison Iwanowitsch is licensed by MHFA Australia and offers the Standard MHFA course as authored by Mental Health First Aid Australia.
